1. Acceptance of terms
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the website at profcleaning-care.com (the “Site”) and the cleaning services provided by Cleaning & Care ProfServices LLC (“we,” “us,” or “our”).
By using the Site or engaging our cleaning services, you agree to these Terms. If you don’t agree, please don’t use the Site or our services.
2. Services
We provide commercial and residential cleaning services in Connecticut and parts of New York. The specific scope of services, frequency, and pricing are agreed in writing for each client (via quotes, proposals, or service agreements).
All information on the Site, including pricing, service descriptions, and availability, is for general informational purposes and is not a binding offer. Specific terms apply only after we provide a written quote or proposal and you accept it.
3. Quotes and pricing
Quotes are provided based on information you give us. If actual conditions differ materially from what you described (e.g., significantly larger space, much heavier cleaning needs), we may adjust pricing — but only after notifying you and obtaining your approval.
Quoted prices are valid for 30 days from the quote date unless otherwise specified.
4. Scheduling and cancellation
We schedule cleaning visits in advance and commit to arriving within agreed time windows. If we need to reschedule, we notify you as early as possible.
You can cancel or reschedule:
- Free of charge with at least 12 hours’ notice (residential) or 24 hours’ notice (commercial)
- Within the notice window, a fee equal to 50% of the visit cost may apply
For recurring service agreements, you can cancel with 30 days’ written notice after the first 30 days of service.
5. Payment
Residential: Payment is due on the day of service unless otherwise agreed. We accept card, ACH, Zelle, and check.
Commercial: Net-15 or Net-30 invoicing terms are standard, as agreed in your service agreement.
Late payment: Invoices unpaid 30 days past due may accrue interest at 1.5% per month or the maximum allowed by law, whichever is lower.
Returned payments: A fee of $35 applies to returned checks or failed ACH/card payments.
6. Property access
You’re responsible for providing safe access to the property being cleaned. Keys, codes, and access arrangements are made by mutual agreement.
If we cannot access the property at the scheduled time (locked, no code provided, etc.), a missed-visit fee equal to 50% of the visit cost applies.
7. Re-clean guarantee
If you’re not satisfied with the quality of a cleaning visit, notify us within 24 hours and we’ll return to address the issue at no additional charge. The re-clean guarantee covers specific spots or areas you identify — not a full re-cleaning of the property.
8. Damage and breakage
We carry $500,000 in general liability insurance and are bonded. If our crew damages your property during cleaning, notify us within 24 hours with documentation (photos, description). We’ll respond within 3 business days with a resolution plan.
Pre-existing damage, fragile items, or items in poor condition before cleaning are not our responsibility. Tell us about valuable, fragile, or sentimental items so we can avoid them or take extra care.
9. Items left behind
If we find items in spaces we’re cleaning (cash, jewelry, personal documents, etc.), we leave them where we found them or place them in a visible location for you. We do not store or remove items from your property.
10. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim arising from our services is limited to the amount you paid for the specific cleaning visit giving rise to the claim.
We are not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages.
11. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from any claims arising from:
- Your breach of these Terms
- Misrepresentation of property conditions
- Unsafe property conditions that cause crew injury
- Third-party claims arising from your property or its occupants
12. Termination
We reserve the right to terminate any service relationship at any time, with reasonable notice, for any reason — including non-payment, unsafe working conditions, or harassment of our crew.
13. Governing law
These Terms are governed by Connecticut law. Disputes will be resolved in Connecticut state or federal courts.
14. Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the “Last updated” date and, where appropriate, posting notice on the Site.
15. Not a public offer
Information on this Site, including service descriptions and pricing references, is provided for informational purposes only and does not constitute a public offer or binding commitment. All specific service terms, pricing, and conditions are confirmed individually through written quotes, proposals, and service agreements.
