Cleaning & Care ProfServices was founded in 2023 in Stamford, Connecticut. The company is young. Our people aren't. Every member of our team brings at least five years of hands-on cleaning experience - which means you skip the learning curve, the rotating strangers, and the inconsistency that comes with junior cleaning crews.
Our story
Why we started Cleaning & Care
Cleaning is a strange industry. The barrier to starting a cleaning company is low — anyone can buy supplies and start a service. The barrier to running a cleaning company well, year after year, is high. Most cleaning companies don’t survive their third year because the operational details (crew retention, billing reliability, quality consistency, customer relationship management) are all genuinely hard.
We started Cleaning & Care in 2023 with a specific operational philosophy: hire experienced people instead of training entry-level ones, assign clients to consistent crews, price fairly and don’t surprise people with bills, and be honest about what we do and don’t offer. We figured if we did those four things consistently, we’d be the kind of cleaning vendor that businesses and homeowners actually want to work with long-term.
It’s working. We’re growing carefully — we don’t take on accounts we can’t serve well — and we’re building a reputation as the kind of company that does what it says, on the schedule it commits to, for the price quoted.

Five things we believe
Experience matters more than systems
We hire experienced cleaners (5+ years minimum) instead of training entry-level ones. Process and checklists are useful, but they don’t replace the judgment that comes from years of doing the work.
Same crew, every visit
Cleaning quality depends on familiarity with the space. The crew assigned to your account learns your preferences, your layout, and what you noticed last time. Rotating crews is one of the biggest failures of the cleaning industry.
Honest pricing
The price we quote is what you pay. No surprise surcharges, no quote inflation when we arrive, no auto-renewing contracts that lock you in after the relationship has gone bad.
Honest scope
We’re explicit about what we don’t do — HAZMAT, commercial kitchen cleaning, high-elevation windows, HVAC duct cleaning. Other cleaning companies promise everything and deliver some of it poorly. We deliver what we promise.
Care for the work
A good cleaning company genuinely cares about the spaces it cleans — the kitchens that smell better when they’re done, the bathrooms that look fresh after years of use, the offices that feel welcoming Monday morning. We hire people who care about this work, not people for whom this is a stop on the way to something else.
Where we work
Fairfield County, CT and Westchester County, NY
Our base is Stamford. We serve homes and businesses across the Fairfield County coastline (Stamford, Greenwich, Darien, Norwalk, Westport, Fairfield), the inland towns (New Canaan, Wilton, Bridgeport), and parts of lower Westchester County in New York (Port Chester, Rye, Rye Brook).
For homes and businesses outside this geography, we evaluate case-by-case based on accessibility and project size. Tell us where you are and we’ll be straightforward about whether we can serve you well.
What we don’t do
Three categories we don’t pretend to handle
Some cleaning companies offer everything to look bigger and capture more accounts. We’re explicit about scope. These are services we don’t currently offer:
Commercial kitchen cleaning behind the line: Hoods, vents, deep fryers, cookline equipment — regulated cleaning categories requiring specialized equipment and crews. We don’t do this work.
Hazardous material handling: HAZMAT cleanups, regulated industrial waste, chemical spills. Requires licensed environmental remediation vendors.
High-elevation exterior windows: Second-story residential windows, upper-floor commercial windows, anything requiring extension ladders, scaffolding, or rope access. Requires specialized window cleaning vendors.
For these categories, we’ll refer you to vendors who specialize in them. For everything within our actual scope — residential cleaning, commercial cleaning, post-construction, move-in/out, and the other services on this site — we deliver thoroughly and consistently.
